Jesse and I set out after work on Friday, August 14 to explore and climb mountains in the Indian Creek Pass area. Our mood was optimistic and the weather was bleak. Despite an array of challenges, we successfully climbed Bidarka Peak, 3505, Shaman Dome, and 3555. The total outing was approximately 20 miles and 7000 feet of elevation gain and loss total. We arrived exhausted, but fulfilled, to the truck on Saturday, August 15 at 5:30. The first picture in this collection is Jesse on Bidarka Peak at 10:30 p.m. The temperature was 40 degrees with high winds and rain.
The view from our tent upon waking up from a long night of high winds and rain. We were chilled but ready for a day of adventure.
