Tundra's Adventure

Adventure beckoned. Tundra clearly wanted to run (she was doing laps up and down my hallway and around the kitchen), so I decided to run her out in the mountains. She is a 4.5 month old Siberian Husky/Malamute Hybrid. Tundra has been running with me since about 3 months old. At first, I had to wait for her and continually encourage her to keep going. Now, she waits for me and continually encourages me to keep going. The temperature today was -6 and windy, but that didn't stop us from adventuring out into the high country.

A tired dog. What Tundra doesn't realize yet is that I am planning to run her down the remaining mountain at Mt. Marathon speed...

Tundra and I had a fantastic outing. At the trailhead, she needed help getting into the truck and then immediately fell asleep. I guess the deep snow, steep angle, cold and wind, running, and fresh air did the trick! Hopefully when I get home Tundra will sleep the rest of the day...
