Mount Alpenglow

Adventure beckoned. Todd Kasteler, Todd Lovell, a dog named Tundra, a packraft named Alpaca, and I journeyed to the summit of Mount Alpenglow. The adventure commenced at 6:00 a.m. from Six Mile Creek located just off the Hope Road. I’ve been eyeing this mountain for several years, and decided it was time to climb this beautiful piece of rock. Todd K, Todd L, Tundra, and Alpaca were also keen. After multiple adventure variables, we finished the route at 2:00 p.m., for a total of 8 hours. A few descriptors come to mind: Diverse, organic, torture, wet, steep, unknown, brilliant, thrilling, exploration, remote, unpopulated, fog, summit, and fulfillment. Another Spiritual Wilderness Adventure!
